Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Finishing Supervisor to oversee and manage all finishing activities on our construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager or Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the final touches of our projects meet quality standards, design specifications, and timelines, contributing directly to client satisfaction and project success.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and monitor all finishing works, including plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, carpentry, false ceiling, and installation of doors and windows.
• Ensure all finishing tasks are executed accurately in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and established quality standards.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and the on-site team to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.
• Inspect material quality and monitor usage to minimize waste and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Track project timelines and ensure finishing work is completed as scheduled.
• Identify and rectify finishing defects and manage punch-list items before handover.
• Maintain daily progress reports and update project documentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to site safety rules and regulations during finishing activities.
• Liaise with QA/QC teams and support the handover process to ensure project closure.
Skill Requirement
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive supervisor with hands-on experience in construction finishing work. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience
• Diploma / ITI certification or relevant construction field experience.
• Minimum 2–5 years of direct experience in supervising finishing works for construction projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and finishing drawings.
• Proven coordination, supervision, and team management skills.
• Good understanding of quality standards and safety protocols in construction.
