Job Description
Novus Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd., a leader in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industry with 48+ years of manufacturing excellence, is expanding its procurement team. This role will support our fast-growing brands, including Carbamide Forte, by sourcing high-quality materials across nutrition, personal care, packaging, and pet product categories. You will manage end-to-end procurement—from vendor onboarding to delivery coordination—ensuring supply chain efficiency and compliance with our quality standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding domestic suppliers for various product categories.
• Negotiating pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules to secure favorable deals.
• Raising and tracking purchase orders, ensuring timely dispatches and supplier follow-ups.
• Maintaining accurate procurement documentation for audits and reconciliations.
• Coordinating with inventory and planning teams to monitor stock levels and reorder schedules.
• Conducting basic quality checks and liaising with vendors during manufacturing for custom requirements.
• Ensuring all procurement activities align with company policies and product specifications.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and the ability to handle procurement operations independently. Freshers with relevant aptitude and graduates with sourcing experience are encouraged to apply.
We require the following qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 2–3 years of sourcing or procurement experience (preferably in FMCG, nutraceuticals, or personal care). Freshers may also apply.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and documentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience in managing vendor relationships.
• Ability to coordinate internally with planning, inventory, and quality teams.
• Keen attention to detail and process orientation.
