Surreal Global is India’s leading retail design agency, renowned for mall decor, installations, and exhibition design for top brands. We are looking for a Manager – Accounts to take full ownership of our end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting. This role demands deep, hands-on expertise in Zoho Books and a strategic approach to maintaining accurate books, robust controls, and insightful management reporting. You will be instrumental in driving process automation, ensuring audit readiness, and partnering with leadership on financial planning and hygiene.

In this pivotal role, you will be the cornerstone of our finance function, overseeing all accounting activities and leveraging Zoho Books to its full potential. Your core responsibilities will include:
• End-to-End Accounting: Managing day-to-day operations in Zoho Books, including invoicing, bills, journals, and ledger maintenance.
• Financial Control & Reporting: Leading the month-end close process, preparing P&L, balance sheets, cash flows, and AR/AP aging reports for management.
• Reconciliation & Compliance: Ensuring timely bank/credit card reconciliations and managing all statutory compliance, including coordination with external CAs and auditors.
• Process Optimization: Configuring and maintaining Zoho Books, driving automation, building SOPs, and improving financial controls and workflows.
• Stakeholder Management: Partnering with leadership on cash flow planning, vendor negotiations, and providing strategic financial insights.

Skill Requirement

We seek a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional with substantial experience in finance operations and a mandatory, strong command of Zoho Books. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

The essential qualifications and attributes for this position are:
• Experience: 5–10 years in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years owning month-end close and management reporting.
• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books is mandatory. Proficiency in Zoho Analytics, CRM, or Inventory is a plus.
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of reconciliations, revenue/expense recognition, and internal controls.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets, excellent attention to detail, and strong follow-up and process-management abilities.
• Good-to-Have: Experience with GST/TDS, service/agency billing models, or Zoho implementation/migration.
