Job Description
The Vidyalankar Group is looking for a dedicated Admissions Counsellor to join our team at the Pune branch located on Fergusson College Road. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary advisor to students and parents, guiding them through our educational programs and facilitating their admission journey. Your focus will be on converting prospective interest into enrollments, ensuring a seamless admission process, and contributing to the operational excellence of our centre.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing expert counselling to students and parents about the various academic programs offered by Vidyalankar.
Managing the entire admission process, from initial inquiry to final enrollment, ensuring individual and team targets are met.
Supporting daily centre operations and maintaining accurate, up-to-date student records.
Ensuring all fee collections are securely deposited in the bank and that the daily Management Information System (MIS) is accurately updated.
Building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders to promote our educational offerings and drive enrollment growth.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with persuasive skills, a target-oriented mindset, and a genuine passion for education. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
The required qualifications are:
A Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline, with a consistent first-class academic record.
1–3 years of proven experience in admissions counselling, education sales, or a closely related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong counselling, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in maintaining records, handling financial transactions, and updating MIS reports.
A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving and exceeding admission targets.
