Job Description

As an Admissions Counselor, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families at a premier science coaching institute in Airoli. Your main objective is to guide families through the enrollment process for 11th and 12th-grade programs, focusing on competitive exams like JEE, NEET, and CET. This role is highly dynamic, requiring a mix of office-based consultation and personalized home visits to build trust and close enrollments. You will act as an academic advisor, assessing student needs and providing tailored course recommendations to help them achieve their career goals.

Consultative Sales: Convert inquiries into admissions by conducting detailed program presentations and addressing parental concerns.

Direct Outreach: Perform home visits to engage families in a comfortable setting and build long-term relationships.

End-to-End Enrollment: Manage the entire student journey from the initial inquiry and follow-up calls to final documentation and fee collection.

Marketing Support: Represent the institute at school fairs, workshops, and local events to generate fresh leads and boost brand visibility.

Skill Requirement

To excel in this role, you should possess a target-oriented mindset combined with exceptional interpersonal skills. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with at least one year of experience in sales or educational counseling. Since the institute is located in Navi Mumbai, proficiency in Hindi is required, while the ability to speak Marathi and English will give you a significant advantage in connecting with the local community. You must be comfortable working independently, managing your own schedule for home visits, and maintaining a high level of energy and professionalism.

Effective Communication: Ability to explain complex curriculum details clearly and persuasively to both students and parents.

Relationship Management: Strong follow-up skills to nurture leads and maintain a high level of trust throughout the admission cycle.

Sales Acumen: Proven ability to meet enrollment targets through a consultative and empathetic approach.

Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing schedules, student data, and promotional event logistics efficiently.
