Salary: ₹5,000 – ₹10,000 per month
Expected Hours: Approximately 3 hours per week
New Bombay City School is seeking a passionate, creative, and responsible Art & Craft Teacher to inspire and mentor students in a vibrant school environment. This part-time role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who loves teaching and fostering artistic expression in young learners. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons that encourage creativity, skill development, and a love for the arts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct creative and age-appropriate art and craft lessons for students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic classroom environment that encourages student participation and self-expression.
• Guide students in the use of various art materials, tools, and techniques.
• Organize and display student artwork within the school to promote a sense of accomplishment and school pride.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into broader school activities and events.
• Ensure the art classroom is clean, safe, and well-organized
Skill Requirement
We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for art education, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students of different age groups.
Required Qualifications:
• Previous teaching or instructional experience in art and craft (formal or informal) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various art forms, craft techniques, and materials.
• Ability to create structured yet flexible lesson plans that align with educational goals.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude toward students.
• Job Type: Part-time (approx. 3 hours per week).
• Work Location: In person at the school campus in Navi Mumbai.
