Our firm is seeking a skilled and dedicated Advocate with specialized experience in civil and property litigation to join our office in Bandra (W), Mumbai. This role is ideal for a legal professional with a proven track record in handling cases before the High Court, NCLT, and other judicial forums related to property disputes. You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, providing robust legal representation, and contributing to the strategic direction of complex litigation matters. We require a punctual, disciplined, and hardworking individual committed to professional excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle a diverse portfolio of civil litigation, NCLT matters, High Court cases, and other property-related disputes.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, petitions, applications, affidavits, and written submissions.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare detailed case briefs and legal opinions.
• Represent clients in court hearings, negotiations, and other legal proceedings.
• Manage all aspects of case preparation, including evidence collection, witness coordination, and timeline management.
• Advise clients on legal strategies, risks, and outcomes pertaining to their cases.
• Maintain meticulous case files and ensure adherence to all procedural deadlines.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a results-oriented advocate with substantial post-qualification experience in the specified practice areas. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong analytical abilities, exceptional drafting skills, and a client-focused approach. This is a full-time, in-office position requiring strict adherence to professional standards and work schedules.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• LL.B. degree and valid registration with the Bar Council.
• Minimum 3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in civil litigation, NCLT, and High Court matters, with a focus on property cases.
• Proven experience in independently managing litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Strong legal drafting, research, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• High degree of professionalism, punctuality, discipline, and a strong work ethic.
• Must be residing in Mumbai with prior experience practicing in the city.
