Job Description
As a Purchase & Warehouse Manager, you will play a vital role in streamlining the end-to-end supply chain and inventory operations. Based in Nerul, Thane, this full-time position requires a proactive individual to manage supplier relations, negotiate quotes, and oversee the entire order fulfillment process, including Cash on Delivery (COD) confirmations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels and coordinating with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries. Additionally, the role involves navigating export and import procedures and ensuring that all activities strictly adhere to local compliance and international trade regulations to maintain smooth operational flow.
Supplier & Order Management: Source price quotes, place orders, and maintain professional relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Logistics & Distribution: Schedule shipments, track packages, and collaborate with warehouses and delivery companies for efficient order processing.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, perform regular data entry, and assist in quality checks to meet company standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Manage documentation for import/export processes and ensure all purchasing activities follow local industry laws.
Skill Requirement
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a blend of organizational expertise and a foundational understanding of logistics. While a high school diploma is the minimum educational requirement, preference is given to those with at least one year of experience in purchasing or order management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential for creating reports and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, capable of handling complex records like invoices and shipping details, and possess the communication skills necessary to work effectively within a team and negotiate with external suppliers.
Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills with a focus on data entry and Microsoft Office for reporting and analysis.
Trade Knowledge: Understanding of export/import procedures and familiarity with local purchasing compliances.
