This Full-time position with Elevate Legal, P.A. and The Law Office of Lorraine Marte offers a remote work environment for skilled bilingual professionals. We are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running, providing high-level administrative and legal support to our U.S.-based teams.
Job Overview:
- Role: Virtual Assistant / Bilingual Immigration Legal Assistant
- Compensation: $1,000 – $1,500 per month
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday (U.S. Eastern Time)
- Work Environment: 100% Remote (Must reside in Latin America)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage client intake and ongoing communications.
- Prepare USCIS and EOIR forms and supporting documentation.
- Organize evidence, track filings, and manage case files.
- Draft correspondence and assist attorneys with administrative tasks.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for this non-entry-level role, applicants must meet the following Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- At least 1 year of experience working specifically for a U.S. immigration law firm.
- Proven ability to prepare USCIS applications and EOIR filings.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
We maintain a high standard for our case management, and as such, we prioritize candidates with Preferred Qualifications, including experience with software such as PrimaLaw, Clio, CampLegal, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office. Furthermore, prior exposure to family-based immigration, removal defense, asylum, waivers, humanitarian relief, and naturalization is highly desired.
