Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and Hillman Field Service staff
- Answer a high volume of telephone requests from customer and field call loops
- Provide order support: placement, tracking, expediting, quotes, and related help
- Enter orders via phone, fax, email, and web; process pickups and damages
- Support sales managers and account assistants with order management, resets, and new-store orders
- Process order review holds and manage error reports / hold screens
- Review daily reports for order errors and process per guidelines
- Choose the best route for expediting when needed
- Answer product application / usage questions and support field staff with display materials
- Know merchandising components by customer to support displays
Eligibility centers on a high school diploma or GED, with six months call center experience preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) matter, plus solid interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills under stress. General knowledge of the hardware, distribution, or retail industry is preferred. This is a sedentary office-style role with functional vision and hearing required.
