Primary Responsibilities
- Enter new and refill prescriptions with high precision into management systems.
- Provide daily essential operational support to staff pharmacists.
- Manage outbound and inbound fax communications with healthcare physicians.
- Package and safely ship medication orders to hospice patients nationwide.
- Maintain accurate inventory management through systematic cycle counts and receiving duties.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this critical data entry and pharmacy role, candidates must hold a high school diploma or an equivalent GED certificate. Maintaining an outstanding ethical personal character rooted in absolute compliance and integrity is fundamental to succeeding within our healthcare operations.
A current State Board of Pharmacy Technician license is strictly required prior to your start date. Candidates must demonstrate highly efficient organization, stellar problem-solving capabilities, and a reliable working knowledge of computer technology platforms tailored for prescription management systems.
While a professional technician certification like a PTCB or ExCPT is highly preferred, it is not mandatory. Additionally, the successful completion of a formal pharmacy technician training course or possessing a minimum of one year of hands-on, on-the-job training is strongly preferred to hit the ground running.
