Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely filing of all tax returns while ensuring rigorous financial compliance. Daily duties include the preparation and submission of monthly and annual Indirect and Direct Tax returns, along with the finalization of books and detailed ledger scrutiny. You will oversee all tax-related entries in the Profit & Loss statements and balance sheets, ensuring complete accuracy. A key aspect of the role involves evaluating existing financial processes to recommend and implement improvements that optimize compliance efficiency and control.
• Filing & preparation of Indirect / Direct Tax returns (Monthly & Annually).
• Books Finalisation and Ledger Scrutiny.
• Overseeing Direct Tax and Indirect tax entries in the P&L and balance sheets.
• Evaluating and improving processes and controls to optimize compliance efficiency.
Skill Requirement
We seek a professional with 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the Real Estate sector, which is highly preferred. The role demands excellent communication skills for corresponding with tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions on matters like GST/VAT/Service Tax, and for liaising with external auditors and stakeholders on tax issues. A proactive approach to monitoring the organization’s indirect tax position is essential. Knowledge of RERA regulations will be a significant advantage.
• 2-3 Years of relevant experience in taxation and financial compliance.
• Experience corresponding with tax authorities for GST / VAT / SERVICE TAX from multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with external auditors and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of RERA regulations is an additional benefit.
• Candidates from a Real Estate background are preferred.
