Primary Responsibilities
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Remotely resolve advanced client requests involving end-user hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians.
- Systems Operational Support: Maintain daily performance and configuration for Windows, Mac, and Linux environments alongside Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Teams, and SharePoint ecosystems.
- Infrastructure Management: Monitor and configure core networking devices including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points, while deploying vital security tools and management agents.
- Documentation & Compliance: Create comprehensive documentation for internal or client infrastructures and accurately track administrative ticketing inputs using remote tools.
Eligibility Criteria
To ensure success in this senior technical support capacity, candidates must meet a strict set of professional requirements. Specifically, you must possess a minimum of 4+ years working directly for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) alongside at least 7+ years of experience working on an Information Technology Helpdesk. Proficiency utilizing Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) frameworks like Automate, Labtech, Continuum, or NinjaOne is mandatory, as is prior experience tracking incidents with ConnectWise Manage.
Beyond core software proficiency, ideal applicants must showcase deep competence across Microsoft Server Active Directory, Group Policies, and contemporary cloud platforms such as Azure Entra ID, Intune, and Autopilot. While a Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred, having active certifications like CompTIA Security+, Network+, AZ900, or AZ104 will dramatically elevate your application.
