Primary Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and providing a warm, professional welcome.
- Collecting co-pays and managing patient check-in/check-out processes.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and managing complex referrals.
- Handling clerical support duties to ensure seamless departmental operations.
- Providing courteous, timely assistance to all patients requesting care.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this position, you must have at least 6 months of related experience. Proficiency with essential office equipment, including telephone systems, PCs, printers, and scanners, is required. We are looking for a candidate with strong, accurate computer and keyboarding skills who can thrive in a structured, high-volume healthcare environment.
Furthermore, we value candidates who demonstrate knowledge of age-related growth and development principles to ensure patient safety. While not strictly required, a medical background or familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable. Candidates who are comfortable discussing financial obligations, such as co-pays, with patients will be prioritized.
