Primary Responsibilities
- Data Accuracy: Process, read, interpret, and accurately input complex prescription orders and pharmaceutical literature into digital databases.
- Problem-Solving: Collaborate directly with pharmacists to clear up discrepancies and deliver correct, timely prescription data.
- Insurance Coordination: Contact insurance providers to clarify patient coverage, verify billing details, and resolve immediate payment issues.
- Record Maintenance: Enter complete medication histories, update patient records, and systematically file medical information.
- Compliance: Accurately prepare and fill prescriptions in absolute alignment with all local state and federal healthcare regulations.
Eligibility Criteria
To maintain our standard of exceptional service, candidates must possess a strong foundational baseline of administrative and pharmaceutical knowledge. Applicants are required to have a High School Diploma or an equivalent certification. On a technical level, you must display a firm understanding of medical terminology, common shorthand abbreviations, and foundational pharmacy calculations. Furthermore, intermediate computer proficiency is vital, particularly the capacity to seamlessly work out of two or more software systems simultaneously.
