In this role, you will be heavily involved in the early stages of product development, working closely with silicon and pre-silicon teams to bring up new platforms. Your work will directly influence hardware architecture and system software, setting the foundation for high-performance computing solutions that power everything from AI to advanced robotics.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and verify kernel drivers and features for next-generation Tegra SoC architecture.
- Collaborate with hardware and silicon engineers to simulate, model, and prototype new systems.
- Perform SoC bring-up, focusing on enabling core OS software across new platforms.
- Write, unit test, and maintain robust code to ensure long-term system stability and performance.
- Influence design specifications by providing critical feedback on hardware architecture.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Required: BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Required: 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Required: Outstanding proficiency in C programming and low-level driver development.
- Required: Strong background in ARM-based processor architecture.
- Required: Deep understanding of computer system architecture (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA).
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with chip or board bring-up.
- Preferred: Expertise in embedded code development and debugging with JTAG tools.
