Primary Responsibilities
- System Case Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for West Coast client accounts, troubleshooting complex software workflows and hardware configurations.
- Integration & Code Deployment: Debug, script, and deploy code to seamlessly integrate diverse laboratory automation devices.
- Network & Database Configuration: Troubleshoot network communications using TCP/IP and serial interfaces, and configure relational databases for advanced scheduling software.
- Collaborative Resolution: Work closely with internal software developers and field service teams to implement reliable, long-term technical fixes.
Eligibility Criteria
To step confidently into this mid-level engineering environment, candidates must meet specific academic and foundational professional criteria. A Bachelorโs degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Robotic Engineering, or a highly related scientific/engineering discipline is required. Additionally, you must possess a valid driverโs license, a current passport, and reliable personal transportation to accommodate travel needs.
For this tier-two support engineering role, a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in laboratory automation, robotics, or dedicated software support environments is essential.
