Primary Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Accurately enter and update patient, insurance, billing, and related data within EMR systems.
- Operational Support: Process timely data and system reporting to support patient care management.
- Quality Assurance: Review and verify all data for absolute accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Documentation Monitoring: Identify and report missing or delayed documentation needed for timely data entry.
- Compliance & Security: Perform routine system backups, maintain organized digital records, and protect patient information under strict HIPAA guidelines.
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet specific professional standards. A minimum of 2 years of healthcare data entry experience is required, ensuring that the applicant is already familiar with the fast-paced nature of medical administration. Candidates who possess direct experience within a home health environment will be given strong preference during the initial screening process.
