Key Functional Responsibilities

  • Campaign Architecture: Design and deploy sophisticated, automated multi-channel journeys within Journey Builder to boost member enrollment and program engagement.
  • Advanced Scripting & Queries: Write, test, and tune high-performing AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), and complex SQL queries for deep dynamic content personalization.
  • Integrations Engineering: Develop and sustain custom REST and SOAP API interfaces linking Marketing Cloud with core enterprise systems and Salesforce CRM via Marketing Cloud Connect.
  • Quality & Validation Frameworks: Build automated testing frameworks for link validations, email client rendering, and seamless cross-platform data synchronization.

Required Professional Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate must offer a robust background in enterprise-level marketing automation architectures. Candidates are required to hold a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a highly related quantitative field, though an equivalent blend of education and hands-on professional history will gladly be considered.

Furthermore, you must demonstrate at least 7 years of progressive engineering experience, with a heavy emphasis on direct, hands-on development inside the Salesforce Marketing Cloud suite. Mastery across Email Studio, Contact Builder, Audience Builder, and CloudPages is non-negotiable for success in this role.


Preferred Technical Background

  • Industry Frameworks: Over 2 years of building systems within the healthcare or insurance sectors, alongside a working knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and health data standards such as HL7 or FHIR.
  • Advanced Platforms: Direct exposure to Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio) and Salesforce Einstein AI/ML modules.
  • Credentials: Active platform certifications, specifically the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer credential, are exceptionally highly regarded.

In this advisory capacity, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Digital Applications within an agile scrum environment.
