Primary Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 in-field technical troubleshooting and adoption support for Persona IQ smart implants and the mymobility care app.
- Assist surgeon teams, healthcare providers, and patients directly with software installation, WiFi setups, and hardware replacements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across business units and offer on-site updates to operating room (OR) laptops and base stations.
- Identify post-operative data transmission issues and proactively work to resolve root cause technical problems.
Required Eligibility Criteria
To be successful in this fast-paced medical tech environment, you must possess an Associate’s Degree paired with 2โ3 years of experience in computer maintenance, customer IT support, or a closely equivalent combination of technical training. A valid driverโs license and reliable transportation are mandatory to accommodate the essential travel commitments across regional territories.
Candidates must demonstrate strong end-user IT capabilities and a foundational understanding of networking configurations. Excellent communications skills are vital to explain complex software installations clearly to non-technical patient users, while keeping exact compliance with strict HIPAA standards.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
Applicants holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Biomedical Science, Engineering, or a related discipline will hold a distinct advantage.
