Job Overview:

• Role: Medical Supply Coordinator
• Location: Montrose, CA (On-Site)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process and monitor wound care supply orders via vendor portals.
• Liaise between clinicians, insurance providers, and patients.
• Verify insurance eligibility and handle prior authorizations.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance guidelines.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and supply utilization records.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree or relevant healthcare certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in medical supply coordination, wound care management, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), or healthcare intake/insurance verification.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR systems and vendor portals. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of wound care products, including Alginates, Hydrocolloids, Foam dressings, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/Wound Vac) supplies.
