Read on to see how you can use your expert knowledge to make a life-changing difference for families navigating complex medical environments.

Position Overview

  • Company: Pathway Patient Advocates
  • Role: Assistant Private Patient Advocate (Physician Associate)
  • Hourly Compensation: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Part-time (10+ hours per week), flexible daytime schedule
  • Work Setting: 100% Remote (Open to residents of New York or Minnesota)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Clinical Review: Audit, examine, and organize medical documentation to pinpoint care gaps, oversights, or clinical anomalies.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Actively interface with medical professionals, insurance providers, and family units to establish seamless continuity of care.
  • Holistic Support: Deliver empathetic, emotional backing while systematically linking patients to localized healthcare assets and specialists.

Core Eligibility Criteria

To be seriously considered for this rewarding clinical role, you must hold an active license as a Board Certified Physician Associate (PA). This credential is vital because your medical background directly empowers our clients during high-stakes care consultations. Our administrative framework requires all remote team members in this cohort to maintain legal residency within the borders of New York or Minnesota.

Excellent remote time management, a sharp eye for detail, and baseline fluency in English are central to daily operations. Our ideal candidate is highly proficient in everyday professional tools like Google Workspace (specifically Docs, Sheets, and Calendar) and can readily adjust to proprietary client management software. While previous formal patient advocacy exposure is a massive bonus, Pathway Patient Advocates provides structured onboarding and training for highly motivated clinical applicants.

Our collaborative remote culture is structured to prevent professional burnout while delivering hyper-personalized care. We value sharp diagnostic intuition combined with a deep, compassionate heart for service. By working asynchronously across a supportive team, you can build meaningful patient care paths without the constraints of hospital shifts.
