Virtual Weight Management Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Remote)

Job Overview

  • Role Type: Contractor position with potential future full-time, salaried opportunities
  • Care Delivery: 100% Remote / Telehealth (Synchronous and asynchronous care via the Enara app)
  • Patient Panel: Manage a panel of approximately 250 patients (scaled based on final FTE status)
  • Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of dietitians, exercise specialists, behavioral medicine experts, and ABOM-certified physicians

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, high-quality virtual medical weight management and lifestyle medicine consultations.
  • Prescribe and manage evidence-based treatments safely, utilizing advanced data monitoring via our proprietary digital health platform.
  • Collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary clinical team to co-create, optimize, and execute personalized patient care plans.
  • Cultivate deep, continuous, and impactful clinical relationships with patients to ensure long-term behavioral change.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and engage in proactive asynchronous patient messaging.

Eligibility Criteria

To maintain our gold standard of clinical excellence and patient safety, candidates must fulfill the following regulatory and academic criteria:

  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in the State of Minnesota is strictly required.
  • Prescribing Authority: Current, valid DEA license registered in Minnesota.
  • Professional Credentials: Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) number and legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Clinical Experience: Proven ability to work with clinical autonomy, managing a diverse panel of patients utilizing evidence-based guidelines.
  • Preferred Credentials: A formal Certificate in Obesity Medicine, a professional background in obesity/lifestyle science, or American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) familiarity is highly preferred. Experience navigating telemedicine platforms and remote care models is a distinct asset.
