Jabil is seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our core factory startup team in Prince George, VA, where you will play a hands-on role in building IT infrastructure from the ground up.
Job Overview:
- Role: IT Support Technician (Entry Level)
- Location: Prince George, VA (On-Site)
- Schedule: Full-time, includes extended hours, weekends as needed, and on-call rotations.
- Project Scope: Supporting the startup of a new manufacturing site focused on large-scale, complex equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and image PCs, scanners, and peripherals for office and factory floor use.
- Administer user accounts via Active Directory and manage mobile device enrollment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and populate Knowledge/Configuration Management Databases.
- Support Audio/Visual equipment maintenance and provide remote/phone-based assistance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Requirements: High School diploma with at least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Certification: A+ Certification is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft applications, basic network architecture understanding, and troubleshooting utilities.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or factory floor IT environments is highly valued. Candidates with experience in large-scale site deployments or hardware rollouts will be prioritized.
