Primary Responsibilities:
- Define the vision and roadmap for the data catalog and semantic layer.
- Architect systems for auto-generating rich metadata for custom fields and imported data.
- Design AI-driven semantic mapping strategies to disambiguate user intent.
- Build robust data lineage tools to ensure system reliability and observability.
- Develop user-friendly Catalog UI for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
To excel in this role, you must bring at least 8 years of product experience, with significant depth in the data platform or infrastructure space. A strong understanding of semantic layers, metadata management, and data catalogs is essential. You should possess an “AI-native” mindset, understanding deeply how LLMs leverage structured context to ground model behavior and ensure feature reliability.
We are looking for candidates with a systems-oriented approach—someone who prioritizes scalable, automated solutions over manual intervention. Your ability to influence cross-functionally is vital; you will need to build strong relationships across internal teams to establish company-wide standards for metadata and data hygiene.
