Primary Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day systems operations, process mapping, and multiple electronic data exchanges with the US Department of Education.
- Direct financial aid ERP upgrades, patch testing, and implementation cycles in lockstep with the Information Technology department.
- Serve as the core subject matter expert for Ellucian Banner and Workday platforms to recommend automation enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams to configure the Automic, Appworx, or UC4 job scheduler and automated workflows.
- Keep office procedures fully compliant with evolving Federal, state, and institutional financial assistance guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Qualifications & Skills:
To qualify for this critical leadership role, candidates must possess a comprehensive blend of technical acumen and administrative experience. A Bachelor’s Degree alongside at least two years of closely related professional experience in a data-intensive higher education environment is required. You must demonstrate an excellent foundation in organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage complex multi-layered system architectures seamlessly.
Technical Competencies:
Ideal applicants need an in-depth working knowledge of major campus ERP software packages, specifically Ellucian Banner or Workday. Proven hands-on familiarity with core Department of Education financial aid platformsโincluding COD, CPS, SAIG, NSLDS, ELM, EdConnect, or TDClientโis heavily prioritized. Strong collaborative writing skills and the technical fluency required to work with automated task schedulers like Automic/Appworx/UC4 are essential to maintain efficiency.
Interpersonal & Project Management Strengths:
Beyond pure technical configurations, the ideal candidate must be a proactive communicator capable of translating complex system behaviors into plain text for training purposes.
