Primary Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining electronic and physical files per USCIS regulations.
- Performing detailed data inquiries and searches on government systems.
- Scanning large, multi-page documents and generating ad hoc reports.
- Consolidating and rejacketing files to ensure organizational accuracy.
To be successful in this role, you must meet specific eligibility requirements. Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to type at least 30 WPM, and the ability to read and understand English proficiently. Furthermore, you must be capable of lifting up to 45 lbs. and performing physical tasks like bending, stooping, and reaching.
Regarding Clearance Requirements, please note that you must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security. This is a critical component of the position, as you will be directly facilitating the operations of a local USCIS Field Office, helping to ensure that sensitive information is managed correctly and efficiently.
