Primary Responsibilities
- Market & Trend Analysis: Identify shifting market trends, client organizational movements, and critical industry developments to empower firm leadership and business development teams.
- Competitive Intelligence: Conduct extensive research on current and potential clients utilizing internal repositories and external web tools to target high-value legal cross-selling opportunities.
- Executive Reporting: Analyze complex data sets, compile structured market reports, and craft clear executive summaries that provide a competitive advantage.
- Strategic Growth Support: Evaluate the firm’s clients, prospective audiences, and market competitors to uncover new business areas and provide vital data for pitches and RFP responses.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this strategic role, candidates must meet the following minimum education and skill benchmarks. A Bachelor’s Degree in Market Research, Business Analytics, Business, Library Services, or a closely related field is required. Additionally, candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in marketing research, strategic intelligence, or corporate knowledge services.
On the technical side, fluency in data gathering, management, and analysis is essential. Candidates must be proficient in extracting insights and building data models within Microsoft Excel using both basic and advanced functions. Familiarity with the corporate legal market and competency in data visualization tools like Power BI or data preparation platforms like Alteryx are considered highly advantageous pluses.
