Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with system designers to integrate security into IT system design
- Develop security architecture documentation, models, frameworks, and diagrams
- Identify vulnerabilities and threats; recommend mitigation strategies and controls
- Design security solutions (firewalls, encryption, access control) across cloud and on-prem
- Conduct full-stack architecture reviews of products and platforms
- Provide expertise on AI/ML security, genAI risks, and secure cloud implementations
- Partner with engineering teams on advanced security analysis for complex cloud systems
Eligibility Criteria
Required: 4-year degree or equivalent; 7+ years hands-on technology experience with deep cybersecurity knowledge (Information Protection, AI Security, Cloud Security — GCP preferred); polyglot programming; containerization; understanding of genAI/ML, prompt injection, RAG authorization, MCP auth patterns; security frameworks (NIST, ISO/IEC 27001); strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
Preferred: GCP native security (VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, etc.); Google SCC or Wiz; Vertex AI; AWS/Azure experience.
Target may assign Remote (full-time from home, up to ~4 HQ trips/year) or Hybrid/Flex for Your Day depending on team needs. Work cannot be performed outside the primary country of the work location.
