Primary Responsibilities
- Claim Submission: Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all compliance aligns perfectly with standard coding frameworks including CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10.
- Record Auditing: Review comprehensive medical records for completeness and accuracy, verifying that all necessary documentation supports specific billing codes.
- Documentation & Updates: Maintain detailed, organized records of billing activities while staying current with industry regulations, updates in ICD coding standards, and changes in insurance policies.
Eligibility Criteria & Experience Requirements
To be considered for this competitive healthcare position, candidates must meet specific foundational criteria. Experience in Mental Health Therapy and Medicare Physical Therapy Billing is strictly required. Candidates must also demonstrate true proficiency across medical coding systems including CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG classifications.
