Job Overview:

  • Position: Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Data Clerk
  • Location: Kearneysville, WV (On-Site)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM (with regular on-call availability for off-shift emergencies)
  • Compensation: $21.62 per hour base pay + $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare benefit contribution
  • Employment Type: Full-Time (Contingent hire based upon contract award)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Oversee all system data entry, including creating, scheduling, assigning, and closing operational work tickets.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain highly accurate digital records for all work tickets, regional resource allocations, facility locations, and equipment.
  • System Administration: Set up specified user roles, access permissions, and automated system workflows within the CMMS software.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all digital files, logs, and maintenance documentations strictly meet customer guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Rapid Reporting: Develop and deliver customized reports and database queries requested by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) within a strict 4-hour window.

To qualify for this specialised role, candidates must meet the foundational eligibility criteria established for federal facility support operations. Applicants are required to have a High School Diploma or an equivalent credential. Furthermore, you must demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience within the past 3 years specifically performing CMMS administration duties or closely related facility data entry tasks. Exceptional computer proficiency is mandatory, with a proven track record of utilizing Microsoft Office applications for documentation, daily communication, and basic reporting.

Beyond technical capabilities, a successful candidate must showcase a superior ability to plan, prioritize, and manage their daily work independently. You must be comfortable meeting tight deadlines under minimal direct supervision while maintaining absolute accuracy. Excellent communication skills are essential, meaning you shall be able to read, write, and fluently converse in the English language to collaborate effectively with teammates and government representatives.

Because this role operates directly within federal facilities, strict security clearance and compliance factors apply. As a firm condition of employment, selected candidates will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening alongside comprehensive background and reference checks. Additionally, all personnel onsite must meet federal government security clearance standards, specifically obtaining an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI). Due to these federal clearance mandates, applicants must hold U.S. citizenship or have verified “lawful permanent residence” status, including demonstrating financial and credit stability.
