Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop highly reliable, real-time software for network switches, servers, and satellite hardware.
- Own the full lifecycle of your software, from architecture design to testing and real-world deployment.
- Innovate next-generation networking technologies to optimize data transmission through our satellite constellation.
- Build prototypes and run experiments to prove out key design concepts in a fast-paced environment.
Eligibility Criteria: Required Qualifications
- A Bachelorโs degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related science discipline.
- Solid experience with networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, etc.) and deep knowledge of operating systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or meet other ITAR requirements to conform to U.S. export regulations.
Eligibility Criteria: Preferred Skills
- Proven experience writing production-grade C or C++ software.
- Hands-on experience developing software for embedded devices.
- A deep understanding of service provider networks, including routing (BGP, OSPF) and connectivity protocols (IPv4, IPv6, MPLS).
- Experience with distributed systems security and traffic shaping.
