Primary Responsibilities:

  • Transmitting business office correspondence between the clinic and the billing company.
  • Collecting and tracking daily point-of-service (TOS) payments.
  • Assisting with the credentialing of healthcare providers.
  • Processing patient payments received via phone and in person.
  • Ensuring accuracy in medical billing and payment data entry.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. We require a candidate with a working knowledge of general office machines, computers, and the ability to type at least 45 words per minute (wpm). Additionally, you must demonstrate a strong understanding of Federal regulations and guidelines governing patient confidentiality.

We are looking for individuals who have excellent oral and written communication skills and a collaborative spirit. While not strictly required, preference is given to candidates with one year of experience or training in medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 coding, office software (spreadsheets/databases), and medical billing practices. Applicants must also be prepared to meet post-offer health requirements, including CPR/BLS certification and standard health screenings.
