Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, triage, and debug Pre-OS Firmware, BIOS, SoC, and Platform drivers.
- Support OS driver development, bring-up, and triage of Platform and Multimedia drivers.
- Drive end-to-end performance excellence by debugging and root-causing GPU bottlenecks for gaming, creator, and AI workloads.
- Lead full product lifecycles from pre-silicon emulation to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to define architecture and early modeling.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of meaningful software development experience in the full hardware-software SoC & GPU stack.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills; hands-on experience with debuggers (GDB, WinDBG) and compilers (GCC, MSVC, LLVM).
- Architecture Knowledge: Deep understanding of ARM microarchitecture, ARM exception levels, ACPI, Device tree concepts, and SOC architecture spanning Boot, Security, and OS.
- Operating Systems: Strong fundamentals in Kernel and Hypervisor experience on both Windows and Linux systems.
Additional ways to stand out include a strong background in sophisticated system-level debugging, expertise in the GPU software stack, LLM training and inference, and familiarity with system-level security or embedded system concepts.
