Primary Responsibilities
- Take inbound calls and help patients with statements and collections questions
- Resolve post-adjudication patient and credit balances
- Work payments, adjustments, claims, refunds, denials, and related correspondence
- Coordinate with accounting, third parties, and physician offices
- Spot payment-issue trends and educate internal/external partners
- Document work accurately and support team quality/productivity goals
Eligibility Criteria
Required / preferred: High school diploma/GED required. Up to ~2 years of patient financial services or collections experience preferred. Strong interpersonal communication and common office software skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
A solid mid CS/billing seat for people who can stay calm on the phone and close account issues cleanly.
