Responsibility:
As an E Discovery-IT Data Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing electronic data throughout the entire litigation lifecycle. Your core duties will involve:
- Receiving, processing, converting, loading, indexing, and exporting electronic files.
- Ensuring incoming case materials comply with strict Electronic Stored Information (ESI) specifications.
- Performing quality assurance checks on database loads, exports, and technical deliverables.
- Converting audio and video files into trial-ready formats using modern multimedia tools.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this exciting entry-level position, candidates must meet specific professional criteria. Required Qualifications: You must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Department of Justice (DOJ) MBI clearance. A foundational understanding of the litigation discovery process, the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow, and Windows operating systems is essential. Familiarity with document review software, basic encryption methods, and a strong eye for detail are absolute musts.
