Primary Responsibilities:
- Research and develop advanced applied physics and engineering models.

Eligibility Criteria: Technical Knowledge
Candidates must demonstrate professional expertise in software modernization and performance optimization. You will need a proven track record in massively parallel numerical development and simulation, specifically in deploying numerical algorithms to heterogeneous computing architectures.
Eligibility Criteria: Software & Collaboration
You must possess recognized proficiency in modern C++. Applicants with additional experience in Fortran, C, and the development of multi-physics scientific codes will be given preference. Success in this role requires a collaborative spirit, effective communication skills, and the ability to function within a high-performing team.
Eligibility Criteria: Education & Clearance
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (B.S. in applied mathematics, physics, or engineering preferred) and at least 2 years of related experience. Applicants must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance, which typically requires U.S. Citizenship.
