Primary Responsibilities

  • Own Strategy: Formulate and execute the comprehensive internal communications strategy for the Policy organization, becoming a deeply embedded, trusted advisor to its leadership.
  • Bridge the Mission: Translate complex, rapid policy decisions and regulatory environments into clear, compelling stories that connect directly to daily employee workflows and Anthropicโ€™s mission as a Public Benefit Corporation.
  • Boost Signal: Manage internal channels, design information frameworks that cut through noise, and flawlessly execute corporate forums such as all-hands meetings.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate closely with the broader internal communications network to maintain strict alignment and seamless information cascading across all global teams.

Eligibility Criteria

To excel in this role, candidates must bring a seasoned professional background rooted in high-stakes environment storytelling. Required qualifications include a Bachelorโ€™s degree (or equivalent combination of training and professional experience) alongside 10+ years of proven communication leadership within complex, fast-moving, or international structures. Outstanding candidates will demonstrate a specialized history working in journalism, intense political campaigns, external corporate affairs, or government offices where distilling intricate variables under strict timelines was an everyday necessity.

Beyond structural experience, you must possess elite-level writing and editorial capabilities. The position demands an exceptional talent for weaving brand values across diverse organizational touchpoints and a sharp intuitive understanding of organizational culture.
