Job Overview:
- Role: Medical Billing Specialist

- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:30 am – 5 pm)
- Compensation: $23 – $26 per hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Submit accurate, timely initial claims to payers.
- Research and resolve denied or unpaid claims to prevent bad debt.
- Prepare appeals within payer filing limits.
- Identify and analyze denial trends to recommend system improvements.
- Maintain precise documentation of all account activity and billing updates.
Eligibility Criteria: Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of proven experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or collections.
- Solid knowledge of payer guidelines, denial management, and the appeals process.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software systems.
Eligibility Criteria: Preferred
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers.
- Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding.
- Previous experience in DME (Durable Medical Equipment) or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- A track record of identifying trends and contributing to process improvements.
