Job Overview:
- Role: Medical Supply Coordinator
- Location: Montrose, CA (On-Site)
- Pay: From $25/hour
- Status: Full-Time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process and monitor wound care supply orders via vendor portals.
- Liaise between clinicians, insurance providers, and patients.
- Verify insurance eligibility and handle prior authorizations.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and supply utilization records.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree or relevant healthcare certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in medical supply coordination, wound care management, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), or healthcare intake/insurance verification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR systems and vendor portals. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of wound care products, including Alginates, Hydrocolloids, Foam dressings, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/Wound Vac) supplies.
