Responsibility:
In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for ensuring our autonomous systems achieve maximum throughput while maintaining optimal power efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Building real-time instrumentation for system performance monitoring.
- Developing benchmarking frameworks for offline performance evaluation.
- Creating rapid performance-optimization workflows to analyze code at scale.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve resource utilization hotspots.
To qualify for this position, you must have a strong technical foundation in C++ and large code bases. We are looking for engineers with 6+ years of professional experience in software development, with a specific focus on complex, multi-process real-time systems such as robotics or game engines. A deep understanding of CPU architecture, OS fundamentals, and Linux development is essential to your success in this role.
While the requirements above are core, we also highly value bonus qualifications such as experience with kernel or driver development, and proficiency with Linux performance tools like perf, eBPF, and Perfetto. Familiarity with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and hardware benchmarking will set you apart from other candidates.
