Job Overview
- Position: Technical Support Representative I
- Employment Type: Temporary (Full-Time, 40 hours/week)
- Salary: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
- Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in AZ, FL, TX, MO, or CA)
- Shifts: Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (Operational hours: Mon-Fri 5 AM – 7 PM PT, Sat-Sun 7 AM – 3:30 PM PT)
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inbound technical support to customers via phone, chat, and email channels.
- Assist users with operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and step-by-step equipment installation.
- Follow established call flows, secure authentication steps, and formal escalation procedures.
- Accurately document all customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the internal database.
- Dispatch field installers to perform onsite service for complex issues beyond phone support scope.
Eligibility Criteria
To excel in this technical support position, candidates must meet specific foundational guidelines. A minimum of 1 year of dedicated customer service experience is required, while prior technical support or high-volume call center experience is highly preferred. You should possess strong troubleshooting and natural problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to efficiently multitask across multiple systems while assisting customers in real-time.
On a technical level, basic to intermediate computer skills are essentialโincluding clear navigation of operating systems, internet browsers, email tools, and basic hardware components. Because this is a work-from-home position, you must have a private, distraction-free workspace and a reliable, high-speed internet connection with wired connectivity capability.
