Primary Responsibilities
- Data & Records Management: Perform accurate data entry into the internal Grants database to update and maintain clean, comprehensive records for newly activated and ongoing projects.
- Due Diligence Support: Generate and distribute comprehensive due diligence packages to newly activated grant recipients and proactively conduct follow-up communication via phone and email.
- Communication & Monitoring: Monitor designated grant email inboxes, resolve inquiries directly, or triage them to specialized team members while tracking critical milestone updates.
- Documentation Drafting: Draft and systematically review critical programmatic paperwork, including Grantee Questionnaires, cover letters, and official Grant Disbursement Agreements.
- Financial Oversight: Setup complex financial records using the Statewide Financial System, initialize vendor setup profiles with accounts payable, and generate purchase orders upon contract execution.
Eligibility Criteria
To excel in this role, applicants must meet specific educational and experiential benchmarks. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree are highly preferred and meet the core qualification criteria immediately. Alternatively, an Associateโs degree coupled with three years of relevant experience provides a great foundation for success in this administrative structure.
For seasoned professionals transitioning from alternate educational tracks, a high school diploma or equivalent combined with four years of direct DASNY experience or five years of general relevant administrative experience is fully acceptable. Ideally, your background showcases deep expertise in handling large databases, managing confidential records, and generating structured professional reports.
