As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the face of our clinic for many of our patients. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Educating patients on Medicaid, Medicare, and other financial assistance programs.
- Assisting patients in navigating insurance processes, including problem-solving for various payers.
- Scheduling appointments for essential care, tests, and treatments.
- Helping patients utilize digital resources, such as the Medicare.gov portal, to manage their health information securely.
To be eligible for this role, we look for candidates who bring a strong commitment to service. While one year of customer service experience is preferred, we value interpersonal skills and professionalism above all else. You must have excellent communication abilities, a knack for independent problem-solving, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare team.
We place high value on your ability to handle diverse situations with empathy and good judgment. You should be comfortable utilizing electronic health records and managing time efficiently to ensure every patient feels heard and supported. Proficiency with multi-factor authentication (MFA) on your personal cell phone is required to maintain secure access to our workplace systems.
