- Pay: $17.19 – $22.17 per hour
Primary Responsibilities
- Schedules surgical, endoscopy, cath lab, and C-section procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Assists office staff with Meditech scheduling and coordinates with Patient Financial Services for insurance and precertification.
- Performs critical data entry for surgery and endoscopy supply usage to maintain accurate inventory.
- Communicates arrival times to patients professionally and prints essential patient charts and preference cards.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this position, applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED. Proficiency with computers is required, and candidates with previous experience in Meditech are highly preferred. You should also possess a strong grasp of medical terminology to effectively schedule procedures and interpret physician orders.
Beyond your technical skills, you must be a clear communicator who can collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and financial departments.
