Primary Responsibilities
- Build Rapport: Respond to plan participants compassionately, answering questions regarding health and welfare or pension plans via phone, email, and instant messaging.
- Translate Complex Terms: Simplify intricate healthcare and pension processes into clear, actionable steps for members.
- Data Security: Maintain absolute confidentiality by safeguarding sensitive medical, financial, and personal records in strict accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Documentation: Keep meticulously precise and professional call and case notes within internal knowledgebase tools.
Eligibility Criteria
To excel in this role, applicants must meet specific base qualifications to ensure smooth daily virtual operations. A High School degree or equivalent is strictly required. Candidates must showcase an exceptional ability to communicate effectively using the English language, maintaining grammatically correct verbal and written interactions in a fast-paced customer service setting.
Technically, a typing speed of at least 30 words per minute is necessary, alongside proficiency with Microsoft Office.
