Primary Responsibilities
- Perform conversion services, quality control, and database indexing for electronic file processing.
- Create and modify files for upload into COTS products and manage individual file conversions.
- Ensure absolute accuracy of data loading, manipulation, and conversion through rigorous quality checks.
- Execute basic tasks related to exporting data from contractor and Department of Justice (DOJ) databases.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Qualifications:
- Some baseline experience with the applications and data systems being supported.
- Familiarity with file manipulation applications such as LAW, IPRO, ICONECT, CONCORDANCE, and Relativity is extremely helpful.
- Solid understanding of the government’s IT environment, including office automation networks and server-based applications.
- An undergraduate degree is preferred, ideally in computer science or information management/technology fields, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior coursework in technical disciplines like programming, scripting, systems administration, and database management.
- Proven ability to perform quality control analysis, report data issues, and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated eDiscovery experience and basic job knowledge obtained through prior work or education.

This onsite position offers a collaborative and structured environment where you will work directly under the supervision of a Senior Data Specialist. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training designed to build your technical capabilities, expose you to complex data workflows, and help you develop scripting capabilities in languages like Python and PERL.
