Primary Responsibilities
- First-Line Employee Support: Act as the primary point of contact for internal support requests pouring in via phone, email, or the corporate ticketing system.
- System & Application Management: Provide dedicated first-line assistance for Prophet 21 (P21) ERP systems, helping team members navigate day-to-day tasks and troubleshooting operational workflows.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic technical bugs involving computers, corporate printers, scanners, mobile devices, and core business applications.
- Issue Tracking & Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of support requests and resolutions within the ticketing database, ensuring consistent follow-up, tracking open issues, and maintaining clear communication with end-users.
- Resource Creation: Develop simple instructions, FAQ sheets, and troubleshooting guides to help address recurring technical questions across the company.
Eligibility Criteria
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the foundational educational and professional benchmarks established by the IT department. A High School Diploma or equivalent is strictly required, though an Associateโs degree or structured technical training is highly preferred. Applicants need 1โ3 years of direct experience in customer support, operations support, help desk environments, or a closely related customer-facing technical role.
In addition to formal experience, specific technical capabilities are required to manage the daily ticket volume. You must possess a strong foundational proficiency with Microsoft Office suites and general business software architectures. The ability to troubleshoot basic IT infrastructure (hardware, software, and peripheral connectivity) is essential.
