Primary Responsibilities
In this vital role, you will work hand-in-hand with Exchange Officers to facilitate local and national tax-deferred exchange transactions. Your main daily objectives will include:
- Assisting in opening, processing, and closing 1031 tax-deferred exchanges.
- Preparing legally compliant exchange documentation for property closings.
- Monitoring strict timeline deadlines, closing dates, and transactional schedules.
- Handling account functions, accepting files, and managing funds disbursement in accordance with internal compliance.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and troubleshooting issues with internal teams, sales reps, and external clients.
Eligibility Criteria
To excel in this role, candidates should bring a balanced mix of professional coordination skills and a highly structured workflow mentality. The ideal candidate meets the following educational and experience requirements:
- Required: High School diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Required: 1 to 3 years of dedicated administrative, clerical, or office support experience.
- Required: Superior verbal and written communication skills paired with a sharp eye for detail.
- Preferred: Prior experience working in real estate, escrow processing, or a legal environment (experience as an escrow assistant is highly valued but not mandatory).
